Battleship has one of my favorite movie scenes of all time. The part where the battleship Missouri drops it's anchor and power slides (with baddass electric guitar music blaring in the background) to aim its big guns at the aliens is an awesome scene!!

In "SPLIT" James McAvoy played 24 different characters based off the characters DID Diagnosis. It was the main reason he took the part and loved doing it. Incredibly underrated movie...

PARASYTE THE GREY is clearly based on the manga PARASYTE (1989-94). There is a anime called PARASYTE: the maxim (2014), which is quite good. Well worth watching. I can only hope this live action version live up to its senpais.

What's hilarious is that after years of waiting, I finally ordered the Black Sails collection on disc, and then the very next day after they arrived, Netflix debuted the series. The disc is better anyway thanks to having 7.1, but I found that ironic.
