His music has lifted his fans in some of their dark moments in life. On this day, they were able to lift him up when he needed it. Very beautiful moment.

I love how the crowed universally understood and basically said take your time buddy, we got you, the band even changed the tempo for the crowed to follow along better.

The fact that he still went on stage for his fans when he was clearly struggling just shows his strength and love for his fans. Most musicians would have cancelled the whole concert and said they had the flu and left their fans hanging, but he didn't. He was there. Respect.💜

I’m so glad I was there to witness this live. I love Lewis Capaldi, I was looking forward to seeing him live all day that day. I had no idea it would have such an effect on me. The way everyone pulled together to see him through. A lot of people saying he shouldn’t have been up there. Only good came from this. It shows anyone struggling with any form of physical or mental health issues can get through it with help from friends. And that’s what it felt like, we were all there as friends seeing him through.

Oh god, my heart was breaking for him, watching this. You can see how much he was beating himself up inside for not being able to perform the song himself. But that crowd, in the only way they could at that point, pulled together to tell him "we've got your back, dude." Beautiful. Gives me hope for humanity, at a time when there's not much to be had.

It's not "vocal problems" as the description box mentions, but Tourette's syndrome. Lewis has Tourette's syndrome - he's publicly announced this - and he was having a bout of severe tics during the performance, rendering him unable to sing. Top notch audience there, I'm sure he's very grateful :)

Damn!!! I am not even a fan of this style of music. I listen to metal. Have my whole life. Yet this right here hit me in the chest so so hard. Watching everyone sing out his lyrics the very second he began to struggle. Just unbelievable. I needed this today.

Im not an artist by any means but Just imagining an entire crowd sing my song word for word for me with the love and support and feelings behind it would be the best thing to feel during a moment loke that.

I love that he's accepted his condition, and just keeps doing what does, not trying to hide it, just pushes on, and that his fans also have accepted it all, and even help him through it.

That slight rise in the cheer with the words, "I'll be safe in your sound 'til I come back around" ❤ I have never literally witnessed the living out of a lyric where thousands of people, and the singer himself, all realized the importance of that line. He was safe in their sound. The sound he gave to them first. There is still goodness.

It would be unfathomable, the feeling you get when thousands of people know your own song, word for word and sing it back at you when you're having a hard time
