This mix is phenomenal. Here in the UK it's just Hot Stuff that gets overplayed. If you're lucky they play I Feel Love but it wasn't until I heard this that I discovered so many stunning tracks. Before this year I hadn't heard things like I Love You, Dim All the Lights or Spring Affair. I think it's so unforgivable that an artist can have so many powerful songs and you only ever hear the same 2 or 3 songs over and over. I play the MacArthur Park suite all the time. It's a masterpiece. As is Could It Be Magic. I love Disco, wish it would make a comeback. Thank you Donna ❤💜💕❤💜💕

I would like to share a special memory with you all.
When I was working on the movie "Honeymoon in Vegas," I noticed a small woman standing in the audience, all by herself. I asked her, "Are you an extra?" She replied, "No, I'm an entertainer." "What's your name?" I asked. "Donna." "What is you last name??" "Summer," she replied. I almost fell over backwards. I guess without her makeup and high heels I just didn't recognize her.
I asked her if she was in Vegas to sing, but she told me that she was now an artist, and was at the hotel to show her work, downstairs. I asked her if she could show me her paintings, and we took the escaltor together to the beautiful display in the main showcase. In the window of the store was an amazing work of art she had created, which she called, "She Works Hard For The Money," which was something of a self-portrait. I knew instantly that I could never afford it, but I told her that "I'd give anything for that picture." When she asked me how much I would make working on the film, it was much, much lower than what she was asking (and could have easily gotten), but instead she answered: "I've been offered a lot for my work, but never EVERYTHING." She then whispered in the gallery's owner ear to sell it to me for that price, even throwing in the expensive shipping, for free.
That's the kind of woman Donna Summer was...
