Lyrics:
Maybe I’ll just be fucked up forever
should have figured myself out by now
And I don’t wanna tear myself open, no
But it’s hard to care when you bleed out

So won’t you break me down, break me down
Make me get better
I confess I’m a mess
Some kind of error
Well maybe I was destined to disappear

We’re just a room full of strangers
Looking for something to save us
Alone together
We’re dying to live and we’re living to die
Dying to live, living to die
We’re just a room full of strangers

Well I guess my guardian angel missed the memo
‘Cause we’re walking on razors again
And we swore to God we’d never let this happen, no
We dragged ourselves through hell
And we’ll be damned if we go back

Break me down
Break me down
Make me get better
I confess that I’m a mess
Some kind of error
Well maybe I was destined to disappear

We’re just a room full of strangers
Looking for something to save us
Alone together,
We’re dying to live
And we’re living to die
Dying to live, living to die
It never stops
Can’t erase this
So cross out my eyes
Tear the pages
‘Cause you and I
We’re just dying to live
And we’re living to die
Dying to live, living to die
It never stops, it don’t

Where did we go?
We’re all alone, all alone
No place like home
Take us back to yesterday
S.O.S
Save us f

The lyrics involve themes of depression and mental illness, but the overall message of unity and togetherness, paints a picture that an entire 'room full of strangers' can share the same struggles and insecurities.

“Maybe I’ll just be fucked up forever” and “dragged myself through hell and will be damned if I go back” were some of my fav lines. What a powerful song that came to my feed in a time of Great Depression. Feels good to have this as a reminder that I’m not alone in my struggles.

10 years later I didn’t expect bring me the horizon to still be grabbing me by my shirt and forcing me to stay alive, giving me something to look forward to; giving me something to cry to. Thank you

People really don't understand what depression is until they actually go through it themselves. That's when BMTH comes in to guide them to the light. These comments below me bring me to tears, because now I know I'm not the only one here. We're just a room full of strangers.

That chorus is everything. The “dying to live, living to die” bit is perfection.

Singing this song with a concert crowd really hits different. After seeing them with FOB I have definitely switched from someone who knew some songs casually to a fan. Very fun experience and this was my favorite song they did

Whenever Oli goes through rough days, I hope he comes and reads his comments and sees how many people’s lives he affected with his music in a positive way. We love you Oli.

I saw BMTH in 2013 live when I was 16 and needed it most as I was struggling with a best friend committing suicide and my own demons I cried when I saw them come on stage, I'm now a 25 year old man in my home on my lunch break, checking what's new to find this at the moment I need it most in my life. Sitting here crying to a music video. Thank you.

I can hear my little brother scream while listening to this song. Unfortunately, he passed away tragically in 2016. But he never left really. He’s always with me, in my heart and my skin (I’ve got a tattoo of a spiral he drew). Thanks BMTH for your songs and the emotions they stir 🤟🏼🔝

I dig the 2000's emo/post-hardcore music vibes of this song tho! reminds me of SOTY's "Anthem Of Our Dying Day"! Keep it up BMTH! 🤘🔥
