So my goal in this category was to get a low
1:18. Never in my life would i have thought i would skip straight over
1:18 and go straight to
1:17. That is absolute madness.
There is a skip in this run that i missed out on. But i was only informed about this skip after i got this time. No clue how much time it saves, but it's in the range of 25 seconds. It's very difficult to do from my testing so i don't quite know if it will be RTA viable. If it does turn out to be RTA viable i may have to try and beat this run sometime.
Farelly below average early game. I can definitely get way faster times at the start. The timeloss at the medusa where i missed the quick time event up, was one of the worst mistakes in the run, losing me about 10 seconds. Otherwise, reset sea, swimming and whatnot could have been a lot better too.
Midgame was pretty damn good, made very few mistakes, missed a jump after the rope part after the fireballs. The movement after getting Army of Hades was very sloppy however. Got the wrong camera, and got bad luck with the enemies getting in my way.
End game was really strong too. Cliffs of Madness was near perfect. Hades was decent, only losing about 4-5 seconds due to a bad rotator cycle at the start, making me wait a bit more. Final bosses were excellent too.
Not an unbeatable run, but the way it was all built up was incredible. It all just built up to me playing really good and ultimately skipping
1:18.
