I'm a Yank, and had a boyfriend from Ireland by the name of Jake who I really loved. He was very supportive of me when I lost my mother a few years ago. When I was away, he sent me a rosary (he was Irish Catholic) in the mail with a card that said "Stay strong! Love Jakey!" I'll never forget that. He sadly passed away himself earlier this year. I still have that rosary and the card he sent me. I keep it for my memory of both him and my late mother.

What a talented singer he was, i grew up in the 80s and heard all his music, his voice is just on a different level, i am really sorry that he went through crap in his final days, you only appreciate someone when they are gone..
