There are currently lots of counterfeit U87's being offered online and in secondary markets. They look really good and sound really bad. Be careful out there! The safest way to purchase is to buy through an authorized Neumann dealer.

Went straight from an AKG P220 to the TLM 102. Neumann have unmatched quality. My next stop is the 87. Can't compromise quality even if it costs!
