I can't remember where I heard this, but it's been said that if you want to guarantee a response from organisations which are going to ignore your letter to them, copy in the newspapers and tell then that you've done so and are awaiting their reply. Organisations are terrified of negative press, particularly if they're ignoring legitimate concerns raised.

Love your shirt Barry! I’m at a loss of what to do about the juggernaut of trans ideology bulldozing the LGBs, except what you suggested; communicate and complain. Re Pride, remind companies about the lucrative pink (and lavender) pound and contrast it with the potential customer base of angry TQIA+ “folx” who won’t loyally support anything that’s not corn.

They will continue to fly the flags. I had a look at a Pride page and the sponsors programme - it was a hard sell of “do this it will be good for your brand and attract more consumers (including heterosexuals).” As long as there is money to be made in my view it will all continue as before.

Talking about the trans flag...last week while visiting my other half's family I was given some presents by his other sister. You know what one gift turned out to be - that accursed "progress Pride" flag. I have never had to cover up my true feelings so quickly. My fella's face was a picture as he knows how much I despise that abomination!
I think she meant well, but I don't think she's clued up on the past few years in the LGB world, and I have tried to give her the benefit of what I've learned. It's going in the bin, that flag.
