Honestly, this version sounds so much better and less artifical than the studio one... truly feels like a song off of Give Me Your Shoulders.

I genuinely wish this song was around during January 2021. It just encapculates where I was that entire year and would've been my anthem. The way it just perfectly pictures the resulting tramua of swiftly and violently exiting such a sweet season in your life. One with friends, who were once closer than family but all of a sudden become people you can't even speak to anymore. It offers a certain comfort and encouragement to move forward, even now.
I love the passion in this live performance, it gives it so much more raw weight. The opening of the song especially adds a lot for me. It feels almost directionless and confused before playing the intro from the Studio version. Reminds me so much of how I felt two years ago.
