I'm so happy I found your channel. Several years ago, I had a good friend who was Filipino. Her and her family welcomed me into their home. I fell in love with everything about them. The language, food, the strong sense of family...I even enjoyed the movies. Living in Tennessee, I haven't found any Filipino friends...or even a store! Just hearing your voice brings back so many wonderful memories!

I took my first trip to the Phillipines a few days ago and stayed in Makati for a few days and enjoyed the Phillipines. Now, I'm learning tagalog, even though English widely spoken. So far all I know is "Ako si Nick" and "Kumusta Ka?", but hopefully I'll learn more faster.

I was listening a video of leroy Sánchez amd I saw a comment from a philipine girl talking about learning spanish because kinda sounds like tagalog ( that make me think because Mt main lenguage its spanish) so i decided to search tagalog classes and surprise now im in love with this beatiful Lady..... :(

Ang pamilya ko are Filipino. silang marunong ng Tagalog, so I'm trying to learn how to speak it too. right now i can only say few words, but I understand the actual language. I don't know how to spell most of the words either, since i was raised in the united states and didn't really need to read it. So I was following along with the captions, it was helpful

just to clear things up most filipinos arent aware that the Filipino language contains more than 5,000 spanish loan words and from other languages such as nuahat'l which is a native mexican language still spoken in mexico today. the tagalog language also contains loan words from arabic malay chinese sanskrit hawaiian samoan and english language

My name is Delijah and my girlfriend is filipino. She has often told me its hard for her to express herself in english. She has taught me a few words and phrases for example; Mahal kita, miss na kita, hindi, opo, pangako, magandang gabi/umaga, and nandito lang ako sa pag gising mo (my personal favorite). But its not enough, so I decided to learn tagalog. Not only to strengthen our relationship but to broaden my own horizons. I plan to do most of this in secret, with that said I like your system and I look forward to learning everything i can from you. My relationship may or may not be depending on this.... no pressure :D

Hindi ako isang pilipino, pero Mahal ko Philippines. Eto ay maganda. natututo ako ng tagalog mula sa aking kaibigan.nasisiyahan ako dito. And I hope I will learn more from this channel.
