Three years after the mysterious disappearance of his wife Mia, Ethan Winters receives a video of her in distress beckoning him to investigate. The investigation leads him to an old seemingly abandoned house on an isolated plantation in the swampy outskirts of Dolby, Louisiana. This is a scene from a Resident Evil 7 movie I edited SPLICED with the Texas Chainsaw soundtrack and the soundtrack from the movie Sinister:
• Resident Evil 7 - HD Movie (1080p 60fps) After witnessing a recorded murder on video tape, that took place in the very same house that he just entered, Ethan decides to continue exploring the house. In the the video tape, it was revealed that there is a hidden trap door on the wall. He decides to follow in the same footsteps of the man who was murdered in a desperate attempt to find his missing wife and continues through the very same trap door. The trap door leads him into the dark, wet moldy basement of the house. After making his way through a couple of pitch black corridors and a flooded muddy hallway, he finally comes across an old jail cell. Inside, lying on the moldy mattress is his long lost wife, Mia. She is dirty, unconscious and drenched in sweat.
Ethan grabs a pair of nearby bolt cutters and continues to snap the chains on the door. As soon as the chain pops off, he rushes inside to tend to her. He grabs her by the shoulder and shakes her in an attempt to wake her up. She slowly regains consciousness and looks up at him. Her eyes are dilated, she is surprised to see him but she is drugged, lethargic and not fully responsive. He tries to convince her to leave, but she seems more concerned about what will happen when "HE" comes back.
