Cooper Howard is a really cool character. It feels like heās a mix of John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart. I also like how heās the origin of the Vault Tech mascot ššš¼. In my opinion, the best parts of the show are the pre-war flashbacks. Cooper discovering Vault Techs true intentions is a legendary scene. Awesome video Ox!

Iād actually argue Vault Tec didnāt drop the first bomb and was rather caught completely off guard by either China or US dropping theirs first. Think about it, thereās no ways that at that meeting that they didnāt discuss āthe big dayā where they would orchestrate the apocalypse. Yet so many Companies and personnel acted completely surprised and underprepared in the Games when it happened. Howard genuinely looks shocked when he sees the first Bomb, Mr Hoise had his Platinum Chip delivered one day too late and Just BARELY deactivated or destroyed all nearby warheads, Sinclair wasnāt inside his personal Vault in the Sierra Madreā¦ there is way too much evidence that although Vault Tec wanted to be the ones to cause the big boom (the Vault Tec Rep in FO4 certainly acts like itās soon approaching) but it actually happened way sooner then they planned, causing a mad scramble to get dwellers into the Vaults and save their skin. There is NO WAYS Howardās Wife would have her daughter outside a Vault on a Hill on the big day Vault Tec prepared!! I bet this will be revealed Season 2, they wanted to cause it, but it was caused by another force, far sooner then they wanted.

My wife's theory for Muldaver is she's a Synth given the memories of her past self like Nick Valentine. It makes sense that the Institute would welcome the creator of "clean energy" and would have brought her back as a Synth to try and solve their energy issues during Fallout 4. But the Railroad got to her first and helped her escape.

I think Ox might be a bit off in thinking Vault tech and the other CEOs were "doing what's right" in that meeting. Bud, did. He presented what he thought was an honest opportunity. But Barb opened it up to full control, full monopoly, free experiments, and even dropping the bombs. And every CEO knew it was messed up and everyone loved it. Watching the show, I didn't perceive any board member thinking "this is the right thing to do" like Ox says. They knew how messed up it was, they all saw green, and they loved it.

Somebody posted an interesting theory recently that Stephanie was the inspiration pre-apocalypse for Vault Girl counterpart to Vault Boy.
As for Moldaver, I would be completely not surprised if she is/was working for The Enclave.
With regards to Cooper's family, I personally think that Cooper's family died. The daughter died when the nukes fell and Cooper may have killed his wife. And I feel like the combination of becoming ghoulified and his family's death broke Cooper and caused him to have a breakdown where he blocked out what happened to his family and started adopting a persona based on his acting roles.

If you turn on closed captions while watching the show. When Bud Askins talks while being a brain in a jar. The captions name him "Brain-on-a-Roomba".
