WHEN WE NEEDED THEM THE MOST, THEY CAME BACK.

It feels like Tranquility Base's sound if it crashed back down to earth. I love it so much

Alex Turner needs to produce, write, and direct a full length theatrical feature film. We all need just that much from him at this point. He's proven himself in the musical field, unquestionably.

this sounds like walking down the road, at sunset, after parting ways with someone you know you’ll never see again

This is evolution of their music. I can feel their vibes change as they are getting older. Arctic monkeys always surprise me. And they are always my top favorite band.

This song is so full of melancholy beauty, so evocative of lost love. It will forever bring back memories of driving home on a mellow Autumn evening, feeling the pain of unrequited love. Exquisite.

Since my late teens, till now 40yrs old, growing old with you guys. Seems I've been living through each of your albums as well as you have. The world might be on fire, but i'm glad I can be alive to enjoy this master piece. Thanks you!!

This isn't the Artic Monkeys I fell in love with back when I was a teenager. Nah, this feels like an entirely different kind of love. I don't know how, but I fell in love again

Nearly a year in and I think it’s safe to say this could the best song Alex turners written yet. Up there with Four Out Of Five, and Cornerstone, and Knee Socks.

This song is the sound of saying goodbye to something beautiful. Something you weren't ready to lose.

In 20 years when I play this song, I'm going to say, "they don't make em' like that anymore." Now I know how old people feel about music from the 60's and 70's.

I love the Arctic Monkeys. I understand the mixed feelings people have about their more recent work. Their music is essentially the soundtrack to their lives and as they have grown up, so has their sound. That’s why the recent stuff has such a nostalgic and cinematic feel. That’s also why some people are really upset about it: because it’s hard to grow up and admit we are getting older. We miss the youthful chaos of that garage band fun with the high school chums. We miss the songs that got us through countless heart breaks. But the truth is you can only fall in love so many times in life. Arctic Monkeys are taking us on the full journey to the moon and back and it’s one hell of a ride.

Love how these guys just play whatever they want to play - not trying to be "popular" or anything other than themselves, they just sing whatever tf they wanna sing. True artists.

It's so weird watching this band age over the years, I can hardly believe it was nearly twenty years since I heard them first play, I'm so happy they're still going strong and producing poetic, beautiful albums like this.

Sometimes I fear that the depth and care of this kind of art will be almost too sophisticated for many to appreciate. Motif and metaphor, visually, sonically, stylistically, blended with a tongue in cheek sarcasm... absolutely delicious song. So incredibly sad.... it's very very subtle, and so so powerful.

I'm not sure how to feel. This song makes me wanna cry and rock around at the same time. A masterpiece.
