A Buddha is never lost, rather the whole world seems lost when one attains to the state of being a Buddha

Thanks for sharing. Iā€™ve been in a very tough journey, and sometimes Iā€™ve just wanted to drop everything, even my life. Luckily, Iā€™ve been surrounded by great friends who are so smart to find different ways to encourage me and help me keep standing strong and moving forward; and one of them shared me this video! I was crying watching this clip. And now, with a grateful and joyful heart, I am ready to take another 2-mile to finish my journey šŸ˜Š

I think it's divine that Siddhartha's teachings comes to me when I'm troubled. He soothes my rage, calms my soul, and makes me cry like a kid.

I am German woman, don't eat anything that has a heart, or comes from beings that have a heart, and let your beautiful stories, with your beautiful voice, run all day long in the background.Thank you for making my broken world a bit more bearable!

When I was around twenty, I undertook an impossible journey to reach the Buddhist Temple in a neighboring town. I had been there with my father for the new years celebrations a couple of times. We were in a bad state, left almost destitute after my mother passed away a few years earlier. She appeared larger-than-life to me in a dream, and showed me an old photo of myself as a much older man, in robes. Having been to the temple by car, I had the impression that it wasn't too far. I elected to mount my bicycle and head East to escape our situation. There were many rolling hills along the way. An hour went passed, I was exhausted and there was no shade on route. Every time I reached the peak of another rise, I'd look expectantly for the tell-tale gold ceramic roof tiles. Another row of hills, and another hour went by. I kept cycling. I told myself, it can't be much further now, it must be over the next one. Up and down I pressed on, hot sweat ran off me in sheets, but I kept going. Just one more hill, then the next one, and the next one. Four hours later I arrived, and discovered to my own and the surprise of the monks who met me, that I'd traveled 80kms to get there, so determined was I. Only one hill at a time, no other way could I have, did I make it to where I was headed. Had I known how far it was in advance, I'd have never believed it was possible.
