Hey brother please talk about the erasure of Arab muslim culture in DUNE. Our language, religion, and people have been completely stripped of any opportunity for representation in Hollywood via this sci-fi story which is based entirely on the sociopolitical climate within the Middle East. There was not a single Arab creative visionary who worked on the film with the Director, nor a single Arab/North African actor portraying the Fremen people. People who are supposed to be heavily based on Middle Eastern Muslims!
