1. Indra's vehicle is a white elephant known as Airavata. 2. there are literally hundreds of stories about creation in sanatana dharma purusha is considered to be eternal being itself. 3. Nothingness(the consciousness) is the ultimate truth in sanatana dharma the material reality is just maya. 4. Both kali and Parvati is considered as 2 avatars of the Shakthi (The Eternal Feminine) 5. Actually parvati's vehicle is lion but her another avatar or form is durga riding a tiger. 6. I have never heard of devas doing sacrifice of animals but there is sacrifice in shaktism and shaktheya,s still do that As Skakthi is also considered as the mother goddess, fierce warrior, and the dark goddess of destruction.

could you make a video about the similarities between greek and mesopotamian mythology? Something I noticed is that the story of Nergal and Ereshkigal is very similar do Hades and Persephone but with the sexes reversed.

As much as I would love to see Kratos journey or battle with the Hindu deities, I'm not sure how the reception for that concept would be.

Honestly all mythologies have many similarities but I didn't know that there were many b/w Hindu & Norse so this is cool.

The word Aesir, from a strictly uninformed perspective, does seem to have similar sound as Asura, being that they seem to be the group constantly at odds with the Vanir, it makes me wonder if Vanir vs Aesir isnt a "down-the-line" mangling of the Devas vs the Asuras. If its not at all incidental to the "Sons of God", these creatures, currently, (and quite possibly erroneously) regarded as Gods rather than Superhumans, or whatever they may be or their point in space origins (still learning about shiva loka), may actually be the fathers of the nephilim of the Traditions of the Tribes of Eber. Since its recorded that Abraham is the father of the hindu nation through a woman named (variously) Kadar, Ketar, Keturah, AND his credit to the Sepher Yetzirah would seem to resonate with other sanskrit texts, I have the feeling that many of the details have echoes of one and other, where they are rememebered or recorded.

It's not shocking at all when you consider history. They're also many similarities between European Paganism and Hinduism.

How is this "shocking" Proto indo european religion has been being studied for decades now, the similarities are because almost all peoples of indo european origin and ancestors of people from Scythia (modern day Ukraine) one group went west into Europe and replaced the older people while a few survived like the basque for example, and another group went east and south into India and the Tarim basin of China. they all have similar stories and even names, the asuras and the vedas, the vanir and aesir. its also why the northern Indians are more closely related to Europeans genetically, than the southern ones, the southerners have dravdian DNA while the northerners have a small % usually, even looking at the caste system of ancient and current day India, the Brahmans were of the Scythian stock and the untouchables the Dravidian stock.

A lot of wrong information about Sanātana Dharma (today called Hinduism). First of all, it is not 'mythology', but actual events that have occurred and that will occur. And there is a lot of wrong information given in this video just to show some similarities to the Norse mythology.
