Traveled for over 26 straight hours from the USA to a resort in Phan Thiet, Vietnam for my honeymoon back in 2015. Played this song on a wireless soundbar in our resort as we were beyond exhausted. Will never forget the feeling of drifting in and out of sleep to this. Now my wife has passed away, and that moment, listening to this album will alway sit with my soul.

A while back I saw a video saying “If the mona lisa was made today, it would have got lost in the internet.” and I think the same thing about this album. If this album was made 50 years earlier, i feel like it would have been one of the most important experimental albums of the 20th century. I worry if people will remember albums like this in a few generations time.

Everyone who has listened to this has found this song during a rough, and uncertain time. Man, if only someone knew how much I listened to this album in its entirety. I've fallen asleep to this album, studied, worked, disassociated, felt depressed and anxious, enjoyed train rides and drives at night with these songs. I love vaporwave no doubt, but this album is incredibly special and 2814 will always be reserved a special place in my heart.
