If I was writer for a magazine, describing the power of this song, and the power of Kyle Morris's vocals, and of youthful indiscretion, it would be overwhelming, reaching out to that higher being. In the face of adversity, we all reach out to that higher power "there are no Atheist's in foxholes", in the case of this author, reaching out to his Lord for guidance. With time, lessons are learned anew, and God Blesses those who persist. This band is the amazing I have heard in the last three years, and I mean that. I was overwhelmed with Mumford and Sons for a time. They write some truly inspirational music, not that it is highbrow, but they are getting away from themselves. The music written by "The Unlikely Candidates" speaks greatly to the common man. At 50 years of age, I appreciate them both, and they both intertwine on the reflections of my youth. Music get to us in many prosaic ways, however, we come across songs like "Where Is The Love", by the Black Eyed Peas, bands like The Unlikely Candidates, Mumford and Sons, and, that are not equally yoked, but share the same message. We're not perfect, but we look to that higher power, in my case, being a pastor, I have a higher power that I believe in, and hope bands like this that create realities that people, can listen to, and spread a message, have great success.
