It is best to buy precious metals from a bullion company or a coin shop. I personally would prefer silver. It's used in so many products. It would be easier to trade -barter with. It value has been suppressed for so long eventually it will rise. Just my opinion.

If there is a hyper-inflationary event, it's the things that we need that will go up in price such as the things that we buy at Costco. Gold and silver will go up in both price and value and will be an excellent medium of exchange. I think that Costco is providing their customers with a medium of exchange in the event the dollar loses it's buying power. Customer loyalty.

It was my experience as a coin and precious metals investor that Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Palladium coins minted by the u.s. mints were the most liquid, silver or gold rounds were more liquid than silver or gold bars. It's my opinion these are the early innings of inflation and advances in precious metals price. We will look back at these prices in disbelief.
