Edit: After much careful deliberation, I have come to the conclusion that I enjoy this more than the original, which is saying a lot. The slower tempo, the sax, the echoing piano, everything just fits so perfectly for this song. I won't be surprised when Spotify tells me at the end of the year that this was in my top 10 songs

This version sounds like a reply to the first. One is bursting with happiness and is sweet and fresh and new, puppy love. The answer comes later, after they've been together for that long time, and is bursting with that same love, richer and matured but still just as strong and devoted.
