After releasing “Tempo Presente” and “Lazy Dayz”, with the participation of maestro Arthur Verocai, the project Glue Trip launches the song “Marcos Valle”. The last single before the release of the long-awaited third album, "Nada Tropical". Listening to the carioca musician Marcos Valle on the turntables and meetings was one of the greatest pleasures the band had in its formation. "I heard Marcos Valle drinking too much, smoking too much ” says the chorus, which in a relaxed way talks about the encounters that gave rise to the song.

We had some meetings at my house to show references, listen to music and talk about the sound we wanted to achieve in the next album. These meetings were called 'Vinyl Night'." Each one would bring a record and we would listen to it at home, drinking and smoking a lot. The funniest thing is that there came a certain moment when the record player only played Marcos Valle. When we were crazier we would play Marcos Valle, it was a cliché of ours. That's when I realized that it always cheered up the party and that was the sound we wanted to achieve”, says Lucas, leader and music producer of Glue Trip.

Marcos Valle has always been a musical and aesthetic reference for Glue Trip, which now has a song in his honor. The song synthesizes all the sound that the band sought in their new album, bringing back the Brazilian and tropicalist references.
