It took 4 minutes for this guy to make it from space to earth, but it takes 1 hour to deliver my pizza.

Fun fact: you can experience the same feeling by missing a step on your way down a staircase.

Watched this a few times and each time I cry. So happy he returned safely. The fellow that was talking to him, had me tear up when he got emotional. Beautiful! Still wonderful in 2024.

Such brave souls astronauts are! 🙌🏽 People panic at the thought of being on an aircraft but this, departing from earth and then reentering…that has to be unwavering FAITH! This was absolutely amazing to watch! I clutched my fake pearls when he began to spin! 😮‍💨

The old man that was talking the whole time is Joe Kittinger, he made this jump from 19 miles up back in 1960. His story is crazy, his pressurized glove quit working and he was so high up that the blood in his hand started to boil and they asked him if he wanted to come down but he said no and continued with the mission. He was the one who found out that you spin very hard when coming back into the atmosphere to the point that he passed out. Luckily he woke up in time to pull his parachute. He did this back when there was no safety and the odds of surviving were almost 0%. That old man is a complete badass
