I see so many comments here about feeling like going into battle and all that. What I feel when listening to this is longing for my third big trip, going on an adventure yet again. I've had two big trips, walking throughout Europe and the middle-east. Then 7 years later going on the second big one, walking through Asia. I got more scars on my body then I can fathom, and that's from things happening on those trips, but in essence, this music gives me the drive and lust for exploration and another adventure, more then battle as the main focus. For those curious, yes, I am from Norway - Telemark. But, this is what I believe most of the Vikings were about...this incessant feel of needing adventure...wish me luck in Patagonia south to north next!

This music gives me goosebumps! I love the Scandinavic/Northern culture, especially after living in Northern Germany for 5 years. After being under Danish control for more than a century, this part of Germany is very similar to the Scandinavian mentality and culture. And after visiting all three Scandinavian countries, and watching the entire Vikings, I fell in love with it even more. And as a side comment, after traveling for a while in different countries, I find the Swedes to be the most physically attractive people out there. It's interesting how the North has shaped entire nations to be so distinct, and yet so beautiful!
