Saw the Sonic game at Pax Unplugged! Reminded me of One Deck Dungeon and Rallyman GT. The art is beautiful for someone that grew up with Sonic. It seems very thematic which is cool. My main fear was that there might be too much for new fans, for instance more table space is devoted to the bonus stage than the card that represents the level itself. My sister who is 15 years younger than I am with no prior Sonic knowledge just said there was a lot going on. Didn’t play it but really curious to see how it does, as a lifelong Sonic fan!

I think the 2 game takes I learned was the Sonic game in the beginning of the video, and the Mistborn deckbuilding game at the end of the video. For the Sonic game, I think it might be similar to the Mega Man Adventures game that was made by the same publisher (if that's correct), since the dice mechanics look like the same as Mega Man expect you using regular 6 sided dice with no icons on it.
As for the Mistborn game, Sanderson and Botherwise has been publishing a lot of games based on his books, and at this rate, Brotherwise Games could think about publishing Sanderson books under a "Brotherwise Books" company at this rate.
Otherwise, I look forward to that game coming since I know an old friend of mine who would have loved the game upon release since he's into to Sanderson books, Dominion, and deckbuilding. (I previously introduced him to Call to Adventure, and he got both the basic game and the Starlight achieves versions.) I hope they will follow with a Call To Adventure verison of Mistborn as well, since I feel like with Brotherwise Games and Sanderson working together, they might be able to make games to compete with D&D one day.

Can confirm, Metrorunner is a rondel, with contract fulfillment, resource management, reputation tracks, and a tsuro-esque circuitry puzzle!
