I was immediately fascinated. This is really great work. The movie is gorgeous by itself, but you made this video into a seperate (and captivating) experience. I loved the transitions, the way every shot leads to the next (even though they aren't chronologic in the movie). You always did great transitions in mood - for example in Life is an Interlude where you connect everything by the idea of Harry looking, "looking into the light", and then the great expanse of the failing Hogwarts walls and the large space of the campsite. The connections are strengthened by colour and mood. I think this is your most complex one editing-wise (because it's so long). The repeating fragments seem perfectly in place, the screen time each character gets is balanced. The music choice was good too, I think. Atonement was such a hard movie to watch and finish. The main character was, for me, utterly unlikable. I don't think she atoned for anything, or even felt much guilt throughout. It was shocking when I first watched it. The ending destroyed me... You captured the atmosphere of this movie really well. It's like you're saying "everything happens at the same time, all events are connected: past, present and future all have impact on one another" (in the eyes of the audience of course). "If I could change the past, if you could see the future, what would have changed?". Overall, very beautiful vid. I noticed a lot of little things that I won't write about. My exams start tomorrow. Wish me luck XD I hope it goes well.
