Ok I say this with love but I've got beef with the one reccommending shein and amazon because any variation of grunge fashion should be resourceful and affordable - plus with a fairy theme it should be eco friendly too!!! Basically I am begging people to just walk into your local thrift store, pick out the greens, browns, greys, whatever colours you like in sweaters, skirts, cami tops, costume jewelry etc. Nothing looks good/right? Alter it!! Distress some $4 pair of tights, add patches to the big ugly sweater, whatever. Bring your haul home, start pairing the unique items with the plain ones you already have. Lots of co-ords and combos just with different layering. Now I'm not saying never order clothes online, especially if that IS what's affordable for you, but be mindful about what you buy, and love the item to death! Hell, I'm wearing printed overalls from Amazon and they make everything I wear with them look fairy grunge. I plan to wear them until they fall apart and I can't repair them anymore. Anyway, this is a big ranty way of saying GRUNGE IS NOT EXPENSIVE! GO THRIFT AND LIVE YOUR FAIRY DREAMS!!

i really love this aesthetic, but i can’t wear some of my favorite outfits at school because of my strict dress code it sucks. i can’t wear anything low cut, everything has to have sleeves, no crop tops, and all skirts have to be long which isn’t really bad but it still sucks for some outfits 🥱
