"The good place" Is a fun show with no "Plot babies" or sudden loss of child. My husband and I tried for many years before we were diagnosed with infertility. TV or movie characters suddenly being/getting pregnant for plot reasons would always break me.

My family has most children five years apart. Then I took a lot of child development classes and found thatās a good spacing because the elder child is more independent and can help more with baby while not feeling left out. Oh baby canāt do that but youāre big. When baby is bigger you can teach them how to do that!

Im so glad that you are not labelling Rupert as "shy" and trying to understand his thought process is a-okay while still helping him through it. I have been labelled as "shy" since childhood and its made me even more self conscious around others, or sometimes i would lean into the "shy"ness even more. So glad to hear an explanation and understanding instead of just a "shy" blanker judgement, nothing wrong with taking a little time to scope out a social situation š
