I never really thought about this before but, I could see how this reaction is easily more satisfying than getting a whole theater to roar with laughter. You can hear the chuckles go off like popcorn. You don't know when it's coming. Random one here, random one there. It's like you can hear the joke physically hit someone lol. I mean, you can actually here people wheezing 👏👏👏😂😭

This reminds me of a live blues performance I saw once. Where a local bar pub older man named "Preach" whom everyone loved in our city, jumped on stage to perform a song, and just said like one or two words over and over again as the band was going. "yup", "okay"... and that went on for like 5 minutes. Everyone thought he was going to go into a verse, but never did. It was hilarious and perfect at the same time. At least, I'll never forget, and my friends and I were the mega-local drunks that lived above the bar.

He’s clearly inspired by Kaufman, Andy would always get the crowd rolling by just being awkward and not even saying anything only true comedian can do this

This is really hard to do. To have the moxie to stand there and not say anything says a lot about you as a performer. Just watching you I felt a little anxiety, but it was great. You had me on the sedge of my seat and chuckling at the same time. Well done! and Thank you.

As as comic to me the most gangster part is he used a whole minute and 20 seconds of his act for this XD

I wondered what George W was doing now. Glad to see he's sorted himself out!

I feel like this a clear example of Norm Mcdonald's take on comedy, not being the smartest guy in the room kills. It's like opening up your book on a point to sympathize with the main character, and it keeps the pages turning. You have to just stay interesting after that. Amazing show Rodney, I hope you reach more people the world needs it. :)

Yup definitely ranks in the top 3 best openings I’ve seen, up there with Carlin and Foxworthy! That “questions” line got me so hard 🤣

The only way this could possibly be any funnier is if it was actually funny.
