God help me and those people like me in the same situation. For some reason I find it so awfully difficult to sit and open/read my Bible. I think it is a tactic of the enemies to make it seem like it is this mundane thing to do. I say I will open my Bible and actually read it but I never do. There is definitely a strong hold on me for this one and I think most christians can relate. May the Lord help us open his word up and breath it and live it. I think this audio could help me veer me in the right direction. Lord, have mercy, you would think that it should be easy no doubt about it but it is the hardest thing for me. It is a shame for me at least that I have time for social media and other nonsensical internet browsing, than to spend time on the scripture. To think Jesus willingly gave his life and sent himself so easily on the cross for my sins and for the sins of the world yet most of us like me canāt even get into his word is beyond me. What a shame, seriously I'm so mad at myself for this lack of commitment. Pray for me.
Edit: Now I can see Iām not alone in this we are in it together. Thank you all brothers/sisters in Christ who have also shared what you struggle with and encouraged me and others on here. May God bless you all and give you his peace that surpasses all understanding and help you in your struggles. Iām glad there is a Christian community like this that we can all be vulnerable on and find encouragement from each other. Iām thankful for each one of you. This is what it means to be a Christian. šš

i can't wait till I go to heaven. I just want to give our father all my love and be happy I finally made it home with my son.. waiting with Jesus. I'll probably see him by a lake my son always love to fish. he taught Daddy how to fish.

Many people in the days of Jesus could not read. He told people like that to go to synogogue and listen. There are so many ways to access the Word of God. I love reading my Womens study bible because it breaks everything down for me but not everyone has the attention span for that. But i also add a bible study from youtube, trusted Pastors whom i listen to dive into each chapter i read. Also dont overwhelm yourself. Nobody expects you to open your bible and read it like u would a book, start off with verses or books of the bible and give yourself time and patience to absorb what you read as well. The Holy Spirit is who helps us in discerning the Word of God. Also, i pray for wisdom and knowledge and i ask God to speak to me through His word. It helps. Good luck to you and im so happy to have you in the body of Christ with your true family. We love you and Jesus loves you.

I was homeless, got into drugs, went into prisons, then i got to know Jesus, He changed my life.. Now i have a home, a wife, a lovely daughter and a new identity... A child of God.. Hallelujah
