Great to have Monster Madness back, and I can't think of a better show to start it off with. I love how The Addams Family is sort of the opposite of most sitcom families; weird and macabre on the surface, but at their core, everyone truly loves and supports each other.

My dad actually grew up in Westfield, New Jersey, where Charles Addams lived as a kid. We always passed by his childhood home and the neighboring home that inspired the Addams mansion while visiting grandparents, and it's cool to see Westfield hosting annual Addams-themed events in October. Especially after Wednesday became a Netflix hit.

Did you know that Fester's Quest came out in 1989, two years before the 1991 Addams Family movie? And afterwards, the Addams Family went from being basically a dead intellectual property to having Hollywood studios fight over the movie rights; coincidence?
