About The Killers:
The Killers are a Las Vegas-based four-piece who formed in 2003, featuring the talents of singer/keyboardist Brandon Flowers, drummer Ronnie Vanucci, guitarist Dave Keuning and bassist Mark Stoermer. The band has received countless accolades for their artistic achievement, including multiple Grammy nominations, American Music Award nominations, MTV Video Music Awards, NME Awards and more.Their first album, Hot Fuss, was released in 2004 to worldwide acclaim. The album contained the singles “Mr. Brightside” and “Somebody Told Me,” in addition to the anthemic song “All These Things That I’ve Done,” which has since been referenced by the likes of U2 and Coldplay. The band toured for two years straight behind Hot Fuss, playing more than four-hundred shows, and eventually returned to Vegas to begin to work on the follow-up album with legendary producers Alan Moulder and Flood. The result, a love letter of sorts to their hometown entitled Sam’s Town, was released in 2006 and spent forty-two weeks on the Billboard Top 200.A b-sides collection entitled Sawdust was released in 2007, followed by their third studio album, Day & Age, which was released to widespread critical praise in 2008, anchored by massive single “Human.”The Killers released Battle Bornin September 2012, which saw them expanding their world tour into countries they’ve never visited before, and finally were honored to perform at the world-renowned Wembley Arena, one of the most monumental and significant shows of their career. After a decade of making music, in November 2013, The Killers released a “Best Of” collection, Direct Hits, which featured two incredible new songs alongside classics from the band’s revered catalogue. The band, who have sold over twenty-five million albums worldwide, and headlined all of the world’s top festivals (Coachella, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury), released their newest studio album, Wonderful Wonderful, in September 2017, where it landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart the week of its release, as well a stopping the charts in the U.K. and Australia. The album is the band’s fifth consecutive number one in the U.K., and Brandon Flowers’ seventh U.K. number one overall.

I have so much respect for Tana & Brandon speaking publicly about Tana's struggles with PTSD an illness that is so often not understood & expressing it through this track. The more that it is spoken about the sooner we will breakdown the stigma and ignorance surrounding mental health challenges. Sufferers of PTSD deserve understanding and support on the same level as those who have serious physical disease or who suffered major physical trauma injury.

Even years after the release the line “I’ve done my best defending, but the punches are starting to land” still resonates with me.

Probably their most underrated song ever, 'I climb and I climb' if you ever went through such periods of pain and depression this is so relatable, just plain surviving each day, day by day. Thanks Brandon and crew for making this feeling into one hell of a song

Must be so fucking hard to see your significant other go through this without being able to do anything. Props to both Tana and Brandon for not giving up, on the many things you can give up on in these situations. I guess that's the one thing you can do.

For someone who has dealt with depression, for most of my life, this song has great meaning. I am with the same woman I was with at age 14. She doesn't understand what I go thru, but SHE HAS NEVER GIVEN UP ON ME. 2 children, 8 grandchildren, a beautiful home and an extended family filled with love. The "Ruts" are unavoidable at times, but when I climb to the top of the wall, it is all sunshine and love.

This song means a lot to my family. My dad suffers with depression and my mum said that this song makes her think of him. It's a really powerful song that Brandon wrote about his wife's PTSD to show people that they are not the only ones going through this. This is why I'm proud to say that The Killers are my fave band. ❤❤❤

Every one should have a supportive husband/wife like Brandon is to Tana. Thank you for sharing a little of her story with us, it truly helps us with our own walls that keep stacking up. :)

I like to think of the characters as Brandon and Tana. Tana is suffering from post traumatic stress disorder and wants to deal with it alone, while Brandon is trying to understand her and be there for her but she pushes him away. In the end, she feels like running away and/or giving up, but Brandon refuses to let her go through it alone. It's such a beautiful song with such a powerful meaning. It's made me understand and love the video even more.

Consider yourself lucky if you have someone who doesn't give up on you, no matter what. Many people do not understand what this is like. This amazing group has found the way to beautifully express the hell someone with depression goes through. Listen to what they never say and you will find out.

I’m on day 33 of quarantine and this song just captures what I’ve been feeling these past few weeks. Stay safe wherever you are. We’ll climb over this wall together.

I’m so thankful for this song. I was recently diagnosed with complex ptsd. It’s like someone read my brain and wrote a song about it. I’ve been having an extra rough time with the diagnosis. I know it’s right and I feel validated. It’s still hard to hear though. I feel like I’m broken.

It's amazing how well he captured these feelings anxiety, depression and PTSD bring to the afflicted. This is love, his wife is a very lucky woman. I hope one day I can have that, maybe it will save me too...maybe my stop won't come that soon...

So underrated. There are times when this is the only song I can listen to and feel that someone understands. Life isn't a party all the time ......
