I've been listening to this song for about a year now, and every time I hear it, I'm taken back to the same places in my childhood, all progressing slowly as I see my younger self, confused and scared. I always imagine myself talking to them with the lyrics in the song, wanting back my innocence, wanting to be as happy as I was back then. Used to listen to this song a lot in high school. Now I'm a third year student at college and this song still makes me what to explode every time I listen to it. And I mean this in the best way possible. I remember how melancholic and lonely my high school days were, and when I compare it to now, I literally turned my life upside down, yet I still get these huge waves of loneliness from time to time.
