My grandmother was a piano teacher for over 50 years and this was always her go to song to play. Today it was played at her funeral

My brother practiced this song over and over. He died of AIDS in 1990 at the age of 33. I was only 19. He was my best friend and not a day goes past that I don’t think of him. To me, this song is Greg. It is peace and love and it is a reminder that he is always here with me.

My husband knows how much I love this magical piece of music. For my 40th birthday he surprised me by hiring a grand piano and played it for me. He self taught for a year, never played the piano before in his life. I was overwhelmed and I’m so much more In love with him than I can ever be. It was a perfect moment watching him play ❤

This song makes me think of two friends saying "see you later!" But they both know they'll never see each other again.

I'm from the hood and I mostly listen to rap music but I still find this very therapeutic, sometimes I sit down in my chair with a glass of wine and listen to classic piano songs for hours on end.

Most People won’t ever see this but it’s fine, I once had grandfather who usually went by grandad George now this wont seem like much but in reality he died right after i was born, i only ever seen him a few times but i cannot remember. I listen to this song as it reminds me of him. I still think of him every day Miss you Grandad, love you❤️

Am i the only person who tears up listening to this? I use to listen to this song when i'm feeling sad, but it brings me memories and feelings that i can't describe in words...

I love this masterpiece so much, I named my daughter after it, Claire Luna. As of today she is a month old.

Day 45 of coming back every day for Mr Tortilla's comment: Wow, it's been 3 years since I last wrote one of these little stories. When I heard this song the other day, it reminded me of the time I would listen to this song and write these stories every day. This idea was inspired by Mr Tortilla. When I was reading his comments I found he's reached 1000 days. It made me really happy to see he kept on writing his daily stories. Anyway, for those of you who were always reading my comments, I wanted to let you know that I'm still here. I really appreciated you for reading my comments. A lot has changed for me these past 3 years. I'm 19 now. I graduated from high school last year. I'm currently working in a retirement home, helping out the elderly. I just started so I still have a lot to learn from the job. I've also made some new friends. I went on a vacation with them last summer. Many good things have happened to me. I will try to write these stories again every day. Anyway that's all for now. Have a good day!
