I discovered your music much later than most, and have, in the past week and a half, listened to your entire discography, and aside from the standard platitudes of how great you are, what a great voice you have, etc., there are several aspects of your music that I really admire and appreciate: 1. The different ways you can project your voice to add depth and character to each song, with a great instinct for knowing which Jonathan needs to be unleashed. 2. As a writer myself, I adore the lyrics you write, the poetry you choose to sing. It takes so much talent to write quality song lyrics, and you do it beautifully. Your original work has such substance, such passion in its story, it's a work of art I think everyone should hear, because it is not only beautiful, the messages within are so relevant and important. 3. Your excellent diction and enunciation. In a world of mumbling, mispronunciation, and lack of care for the clarity of what is being sung, you shine like the brightest of stars. When I started listening to your covers, I was amazed hearing the songs I had grown up with, but had never really known or paid much attention to the lyrics, and now suddenly not only have you upgraded them, I finally knew what the song was about! You and your music have, with no exaggeration, helped to guide me off of a very dark path, and in doing so have woken up a part of me that I thought had died in 2015. I will never be able to repay you for that, but you have my endless gratitude, and a loyal supporter for life. In parting, I would love the opportunity to do an interview with you for a blog project I am working on. I realize it's a very rare chance that you'll see this, but I had to say my piece.
