I am so fortunate to have been young when I learned of Styx. They have thrived for me for over 40 years.

We will never see or hear anything resembling the era that we grew up in. Bands like this don’t exist and never will. I am grateful I was alive to witness the best music ever hands down.

Styx. Sansui Receiver. Speakers the size of a small bus, chasing girls. Not a care in the world. Those were the days…

No auto-tune here or modern hype machine boy band baloney. Everyone in Styx could sing, play and everyone had talent. They wrote their own songs... Back in the days where merit earned you stardom. This song builds brilliantly. The dynamics are expert. God I miss real musicians.

What an absolutely beautiful song. A masterpiece from Styx. I remember being mesmerized by this song growing up in the seventies--and we're all still mesmerized today.

I'm 60 years old now, but this takes me back to 1980! In college, this was my first Styx album. Brings back good memories!

I am going through a hard time right now. A good friend told me when things are bad go back to the beginning. STYX was part of that beginning. I will always carry their songs in my soul. STYX IS ONE OF THE GREATS.

This is a better jam than all the pop songs Styx later got famous for. Great voice, great arrangement!

One of Styx's masterpieces. I remember their powerful performances of it in the late 70s.

The most amazing song Styx ever did. Incredible lyrics. It's also incredibly sad how applicable those lyrics seem even today, in 2023. Even more so than they did then.

Same goes another song from another band from the same era, REO Speedwagon, and their song Golden Country. Both spoke volumes about our country when they were new, and sadly still ring true to this day.

My father just passed away yesterday and this was the first concert I ever went to. I was very young, just a kid and we took a limo. I miss you dad! because of your musical tastes it paved the way for my journey through music. Like Deftones and Foxing. Thank you dad! <3 Thank you STYX <3

"Time after time I sit and I wait for your call
I know I'm a fool but why can I say
Whatever the price I'll pay for you,"
I served in the U.S. military beginning in 1981. Retired in July 2017..I cannot help but love this song..I always shed a tear.. God Bless America..
