I'm going through a period of self growth right now in my life, and I'm so grateful that you happened to release a song talking about it! I relate so much to the idea that when you attempt to grow out of bad habits and change yourself for the better, you get put into this situation where you are still unsatisfied with who you are/were, but it's also so hard to keep yourself motivated enough to become who you want to become. It's a dilemma of sacrificing personal growth and staying a "nobody" because of the easy sense of comfort you get, and getting rid of this comfort and trying to grow, and to be a "somebody" which will end up better for you in the long run but is still really difficult. This song is defenitely one of my favorites.

This album blows me away. I was skeptical that it could be as good as Now, Not Yet. But even as half•alive pushes into new territory, their central theme of growing and changing for the better and positively looking at life in the long run is stronger than ever. There's something exhilarating about it, loving life as you experience its up and downs and awaiting the glorious future that makes it all worth it. Thank you, half•alive, for helping me to feel hope again after being in a terribly dark place. God bless you all.
