I was a young musician at the time this came out and I remember that we all really loved the video. But when we listened to the song on the radio, we were just TRANSFIXED by what we were hearing. That music and that VOICE. Still gets me to this day.

This is the first music video I remember watching when MTV was MTV. I was blown away and it's my all time favorite. That high pitch too, WOW!

that video is truly a masterpiece, and it's visually timeless. There are very few videos from that era that stand up, now, but this one absolutely does. If you see it for the first time today, you'd never guess (well, aside from the musical style) that it was produced almost 40 years ago.
