I recently discovered the Lenovo Legion Go and fell in love with its form factor. Not as small as other handhelds like the MSI Claw or the ROG Ally, and more powerful than the Steam Deck... so I bought it! Will I regret this purchase?

Big note. Be ready to run games at 800p, but use integer scaling. It is awesome!

I LOVE my Steam Deck, it's been a great purchase since like 2 years ago (wow, think it's been that long). It's great. I am glad we're seeing so many getting into this so we can see more competition and good improvements and prices for us all.

Got mine last week there are some things that I wish could be improved but other than that I love this thing hopefully Phil will too. I'm just happy to see someone who isn't complaining about the size or the weight.

Recently, I picked up a Steam Deck OLED 1TB for my birthday. I have say, that thing is AWESOME. It has officially become my favorite way to play my Steam games. I just feel bad for my gaming PC, because I’ve been using the Steam Deck so much more. I’d be curious to see how the Lenovo Legion Go compares to the ASUS ROG Ally.

Steam Deck single handedly got me to play on a "Gaming Console" for my first time since the Super Nintendo, AND, got me to ditch windows entirely and switch to Linux. I still do a TON of gaming on my (now Linux) desktop, but I use my Steam Deck a lot for more casual feeling games also.

Reminds me of when I got a Gameboy Advanced SP for christmas as a kid. It was amazing because the screen was actually back lit, so you didn't have to play in light. Love seeing how things have evolved over the years

I have been loving my Legion go so far. Strong enough to emulate CPU heavy stuff, and even handles 1080p decently. I've been doing a lot of Steam streaming to it for harder to run games from my main Rig too. Software updates are slow though, and I'd say the screen's minimum brightness is still quite high. Definitely interested in trying Bazzite on it to get thay sweet sweet sleep functionality.

I love the Legion GO. If you are at home, I suggest streaming games from your main rig through Steam. Battery lasts forever and graphics look great.

I had wanted a smaller laptop, which could connect to an eGPU for a full gaming vr experience, and overall replace my laptop and desktop. I saw the gpd win max 2, got the 7840u, and it has brought me back to mobile gaming, whilst replacing all my other devices. It isn't the best hand held, but if you want one do everything device it is amazing, love it 😍

I got myself the GPD Win4 6800u 1TB/32GB and I love it. It has a keyboard so when I play MMOs I can still type to my friends/guild. I definitely use it more than I originally thought I would, I like to watch sports or movies while doing mind numbing grinding in some games so it works great. I can be "with the family" and still enjoy my games. Hope you love it!

That world of warships ad was so smooth, nice job to the editors. That arm fold into the reimagining of Jay was amazing

I had Legion Go since it launched in 2023. I chose this one, because it also works as a Windows/Android (Bluestacks) tablet, laptop and desktop PC. It also have 2 x USB 4.0 USB-C ports, support for generic eGPU etc. With cheap dock you can also connect it to a TV and Monitor.

Have one. Love it. So immersive! I swapped my 1tb for a 2tb and added a 960GB microsd that houses a ton of emulators!

Nice. I think you'd like it. I've had the ROG Ally since launch and I probably play it as much as my rig with a 3080. Excited to see where the handheld market goes. When I'm ready to upgrade in a few years, there's probably going to be third gen Ally's and Go's that have APUs close to the performance of a 2060 or even better which will be wild.
