I remember I would fall asleep listening to City of Evil and feel like I was on a journey through other worlds, almost like different parts of the album have their own climate. First half of the album is like the rainy city with lots of grime and thrash, The Wicked End being the climax and then the end of the album being like the calm after the storm into the dry, desert outskirts. Strength of the World has one of the most unique guitar solos for sure. Album is such a masterpiece of composition.

Crazy to think A7X made me a metal head back in 2016, sure I was late to the party but I owe them the world. Thanks to them ive discovered other amazing genres of music, mostly metal core and death core being my favorites these days. This band was the best musical discovery of my life!

Syn has helped me through so much. Not trying to make any of the others to feel less loved but Syns solos and me learning them helped me through the most challenging moments of my life and I will most likely never be able to tell him this but l'm very grateful for him just existing. Love you

I love how often Danny elfman influences them when I hear the wicked end it makes me feel like I'm watching the credits to Edward scissorhands or songs like a little piece of heaven I can totally hear corpse bride or nightmare before Christmas sounding stuff I am absolutely in love with their wide variety of influences and how they try to never repeat themselves and really push themselves outside of their comfort zone. I think that type of thing is extremely important when it comes to any type of art. I love this band and have the deathbat on my arm. Forever my favorite band and people of all time.
