Also girls, make sure to carry a hair spray if you dont have pepper spay. When you spray on someones eyes it will sting more than a pepper spray. And also you dont need to get close to the person trying to attack you.

My ass is broke so I got homemade pepper spray made with:
-water (warm)
-Tabasco
-chili sauce
-ground pepper+salt
-vinegar
And a mini knife mom bought from Christmas. Works darn well:)

Ladies, please take these suggestions with a grain of salt as they're probably sponsored by the twisted companies marketing this stuff as "self-defense gear". Most of these are too complicated to get working when you are in a split-second defense situation. A comb or key knife that you have to pull apart with two hands means you have no extra hand to fend off your attacker. Knuckledusters made from resin or plastic are prone to breaking and you could seriously cut up your hand on impact. You should ONLY use a weapon like this in a self-defense situation if you have had training with it. Anything you use against your attacker has the possibility of being grabbed from your hands and used against you, not to mention that these weapons can only be used from a very close range and this isn't helpful if you are being chased. RUNNING AWAY IS YOUR SAFEST OPTION AND PEPPER SPRAY IS THE 2ND SAFEST!

This happened about a year ago. Me and my best friend where at my cousin's house. My cousin had pepper spray, but we didn't know what it was. My friend opened it and it was facing toward us both and she sprayed it in our faces. 🙃
