Willie Nelson composed this song but could never get the rhythm correct until he let Patsy Cline do it in her own way. It became a masterpiece. And after the Jordanaires and Floyd Cranmer got it right, they called Patsy to record it. She did and she sang it only once. Only that one time was necessary for it was magic. Nobody else has ever done that.
