I really cannot explain how beautiful Ride Home is. It brings me so much nostalgia - it reminds me of the rustling leaves blown by the cool breeze and rays of sunlight hitting my face as I walk along the decades old trees in our campus while listening to this song. It reminds of that feeling where I daydreamed that someday I'll be able to listen to this song with my special someone. This song exudes hope of finding the person I can call my home.

I think ride home is one of my favorite ben&ben songs. Inalay ko pa to sa ex ko for four years, because I thought I already found my home. But the funny thing is he attended this secret gig with his new one, I even saw them dito sa video HAHAHAHA. tbh, naiinggit ako because I badly wanna hear this live. But still, favorite ko pa rin to, sabi nga sa nabasa ko, “you don’t get to take the things I love” because this is my song and now, I am my home. I’m just so grateful to the band for saving me, listening to their music became one of my coping mechanisms as I journey along my healing. I really hope I get to see you in person, regalo ko na lang sa sarili ko, pa-update naman kasi if may gig kasi kayo sa baguio huhu.

I first knew of Paolo ang Miguel when they entered Philpop as The Benjamins with their song "Tinatangi", and I absolutely adored that song. I was so stoked to learn that they had formed a band called Ben&Ben. The first song of theirs that I listened to was Ride Home, and that's when I absolutely fell in love with their music.
