There's good reason why 8+ million folks have watched this video. One can see true dance "partnership" with each partner sensing where/what the other partner is thinking, and responding in the most expressive way. Both understand the feel and moves of the dance (West Coast swing) down to the slightest nuances which allows them to create spontaneously on the dance floor with whatever music is played. They dance TO the music as it plays. For those who don't have much experience with "couple" dance, this ability to sense the partner and dance "with them" (not just lead and follow), this is what takes the dance to the celestial level (the feeling is so wonderful it's off the charts). John and Stephanie "kill" this spontaneous, unchoreographed number, and the audience and the other competitors (in the background) know they are watching magic on the dance floor. John Lindo, Lord of the Dance. Stephanie Batista, Queen of the Dance. Such a pleasure to watch!

I love this! It's a great example of how a bigger person can move with style & grace... being "light on their feet". Many smaller built people can't move like this guy. I really enjoyed watching this pair. They seemed very in tune with each other's movements. Very natural, not like they had to try to get it right. Bravo!
