The plug was super glued into the vintage receiver and as it was glitching and crashing the car I ripped it out and got a new DumboRC receiver!

My hobby shop redid the ESC plug (I ripped the wires out of the plug trying to get it out of the receiver) and only charged me $4 for a pack of Futaba connectors with no labor and I am back in business!

I turned the braking down for 50% to 25% (the lowest setting) and it is still too powerful and locks up the tires. As the braking is all on or all off, it just locks up and makes the car spin out which isn't idea. I will have to try wider tires and see if that helps. Otherwise, the Raider's open diff just really limits the traction and it is what it is.

My five-year-old drove the Raider and this is her first RC car that she has driven! She seemed pretty interested in it. With the new transmitter I can turn the speed down so it’s limited to like 6 or 7 miles an hour… Perfect for her. Really no cogging either!
