Yesterday I was listening to one of your videos while working at my draining corporate graphic design job, thinking to myself how inspiring you are, and how I can't wait to create a life for myself that I would feel about the way you do about the beautiful life you have created. I've been following you on YouTube for two years or so, and your videos leave me eager to make positive changes in my life, pursue art and be more kind to myself. You sound so inspiring and happy, not in a pretentious bragging way, but like a person who is speaking from her heart, radiating pure happiness, gratitude and peace. It's just a joy to watch and listen to you. Wish you all the best and stay your lovely self. Sending much love from Germany. ❤

for ceramics : you can reglaze / refire multiple times if needed !
You can also sand it a bit if the rim is too rough, i would sand it with some water, clean it, then reglaze (and you can resand after the refire too if that's still too rough to drink from, if you don't over do it + use water, it shouldn't damage the glaze but just help polishing it)
Also heating up the piece with a heat gun before reglazing will help the new glaze to stick on the non pourous already glazed parts, but no worries if you don't, just let it dry longer 🧡

Yes, you can refire! I also recommend you to compress the rim of your pieces so that they are smooth. I use a piece of a thicker plastic bag for that, a lot of potters use a piece of leather. Or you can slightly sand it after bisque. Then even if the glaze doesn't completely cover it (which is no big deal btw), it will still be a nice experience to drink out of 🎉 You got this!

I have been struggling with school, with friends, and just life in general, and your videos make me feel comforted, and productive. I was so sad to see you getting burnt out this last few months, and it makes me so happy to see you happy. I am so excited for your plushies and hope i can get one soon ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hello Tammy. I found your page about a week ago and I've been learning a lot from you since. I've been meaning to start a different kind of art business for a long while now and I just needed a bit of motivation and that push to do it. So thank you for the inspiration and keep going. Well done! Just wanted to add that even though you mention your shyness and you seem gentle and feminine, I truly believe it's your persistence and strong mindset that allowed you to master your craft along with vlogging and editting your videos in the process. So be proud of yourself. You're making our days that much brighter. ❤🎉
Take care. Much love

13:00 you can totally reglaze the rim and refire it to make it foodsafe :) also if you need to reglaze a small area that doesn't have to be foodsafe (like the bottom of a bowl or something) you can just use paint and clear nail polish to fix it up, no refiring required (i work at a pottery studio lol)
