I heard this song in 2017 and it has been stuck in my mind literally forever, almost every single day I've been at least once thinking about this song, singing it in my head, this beautiful melody of Betrayal, it actually gives me motivation to keep moving. Oh god... Hiroyuki Sawano and the whole AOT made such a big impact in my life, changed my perception on reality, it's just a damn masterpiece and I'm happy that I can listen to this song for free. The only thing I wish for is this song (or Vogel Im Kafig) playing in the last AOT episode, If that could happen I would be satisfied enough and I could die happy ^^

The AoT Experience is inextricably entangled with some of the greatest compositions to have ever graced the mortal plane. The way the soundtracks manage to communicate pain, despair, powerlessness, hopelessness, and mainly, cruelty, is to me an as yet unrivaled achievement, in any given media. Its music is really the spirit of AoT, and besides the fact that it punctuates and underpins the narrative's message as a form of emotional grammar, telling us what to feel and when to feel it, I find that sometimes it even conveys the plot in a more extensive and insidious ways than the unfolding of the scenes themselves. Hiroyuki Sawano is indeed great, but what he did in AoT is... really humbling. To the point that whenever my mind wanders into some of the most transcendent myths known to man, the War on Heaven, the Fall of Man... the Day of Judgement... this is the soundtrack I hear.

The pain that's overflowing from the stare of Rainer is so amazing i can feel it even tho it's just a PNG. Rainer, looking at the young generation, thinking that the same cycle of violence and murder that he's been through is going to continue with this new generation of receptacles of primordial titans, and wanting it to stop so much, knowing very well how painful and horrible this life is. SNK is such a fucked up anime, because there is no evil nor good, there is just victims, victims of oblivion, ignorance and fear of the unknown, the same fear of the unknown that caused so much troubles and issues. Rainer isn't even a villain, he just wanted revenge. Same with Eren, he just want to make the glory of Eldia. Eren Krüger, the first host of the Original said it best : "You see Grisha, the truth is that there is no truth. Everything and everyone can create his own truth, and there isn't such a thing as truth or reality, there is just the interpretation of anyone wanting to modify it for his personal reasons."
I love this anime and it's one of the very rare anime that i've also read the manga version of it, absolute peak fiction (Berserk still better tho).
