That's great it has all metal gearing.. That Gorilla tape will work out great, I always do the fiber tape method.. The rear diff looks great especially with all the run time you have on it.

Awesome! That saved me some time. I was wondering how mine was gonna hold up under 3s use. I was getting some drive train lockup at full speed on 3s but i put some oil in the axle joints at the wheels amd at the diffs and it smoothed out.

Hi mate, I just notice on 3S the drive pinion was just a little bit shredded, do you know where I can find the spare part? I can find only the plastic one, if you have any links would be very appreciated!

All I want to know is where to get a new pinion gear. Mine doesn't have the 2mm shaft on the motor it's the 3.17 shaft and I can't find the pinion for it anywhere.

Hi my HBX 16890a doesnt automatically stop when I pull my finger off the throttle anymore, it continues moving forward slowly do you know how to fix this?

We shredded the rear diff on my sons 1/12 brushless 903a. The drive gear and input gear were both shredded. All metal. Very disappointing. The only replacements I can find are $26 each shipped from china :/
We jump our trucks a lot so take it easy on jumps and, as always, dont land with throttle. Cheers.

My friend knows how to destroy the hbx!! he always is Running 3s upside down and at the end of the day he owns me 15$ for the diff kit with a single pinnion i need inside the kit cant find them anywhere alone but he destroyed 2 times my drive pinnion with that trick and I how ever never had any probleme if you dont hit 100% throttle while backing up
