To anyone reading this feeling overwhelmed by exams, as a college senior majoring in math, I’ve definitely been in the situation where I’ve studied for days and then shed a tear during an exam when I have no idea how to do a question. But don’t beat yourself up, failed exams build character, and you will still make it. Breath. You got this :)

I just started school again yesterday and my dream is to become a doctor. I want to thank you a lot because you help me a lot with studying and organisation and you are like a big sister for me. And to everyone reading this , keep learning and never forget that your goal is not impossible to reach. The only way to get what you want and be proud at the end is to work for it. Stay safe y’all ❣️

Just in case anyone needs a summary to refer back to:
1/2 weeks before: make list of everything you need to know and what you need to overview. Assign days to the tasks.
Ask questions! Note down your problems and clarify them as you go along from professors, study groups etc.
Stick to regular sleep schedule to avoid the groggy feeling.
Night before: leave these nights relatively empty. Don’t do super hard problems the day before. Just review what you struggled with throughout the study process. DO NOT PULL ALL NIGHTERS.
Carb loading: your brain needs glucose so eat well. Don’t overdo it so you don’t get queasy during the test. Prepare things that you will need for the test before the test day. E.g stationery supplies
Test day: warm up. Either mentally or physically. Use relaxation techniques e.g deep breathing etc. Remember you are prepared and that you have worked hard!

People normalized/romanticize pulling all nighters that I disliked the idea of going to college....🤦🏻♀️
