That being said someone mentioned her music and voice feel like a warm hug.π€ Cannot agree more. I would also rate both her albums the same although they are so sonically different! But if you listen closely there are several similarities in the structure. Her attention to detail in both lyrics and production is amazing. And it is all out of her own experiences in love!
A few remarks to your questions: she studied in spain (OTOC breakup), her father had a cottage in the mountains where she often went, and the last song is like "chemtrails" about her late father. Only here the grief was pretty fresh. And due to covid-rules i assume she literally means to hug from 6 feet away at the funeral. So sad! At that time Lizzy read "a study in scarlet" by A.C. Doyle. And so on. You can see how much real-life detail she put in there.π
The bottom line here after the 2 albums imo: she had a pretty eventful lovelife in her teens!! With lots of alcohol involved....πBut i don`t mind if the artistic quality is soo great. I really hope you get to see her live. I only heard great things about her performances.π
