I was super excited for this but I decided to wait for some more patches. I like to experience a game for the first time when it is a full and complete product. Super pumped to see how they build on this solid foundation.

I do agree that we need unique non randomized items. Especially for boss fights. Defeating a boss in a souls like game feels good also for the unique items.
Also i would let the player choose the starting weapon at the character creation screen(maybe including a novice staff that makes you feel like an actual spellcaster, instead of a guy with a stick)

The random loot has encouraged me to play builds I never would have tried otherwise. I tend to play certain weapon types in souls-likes and avoid others. But in Wicked I kind of had to make due, which ended up being great because each weapon has such character. Now I will say that I have a dozen chest with loot in my 2nd house just so that my new characters can have certain goals to shoot for, checking out weapons in the dex chest or int chest. They could perhaps add a more viable way to pursue blueprints so you can craft the weapon type you want eventually, but I did enjoy the early game of checking out whatever happen to drop.

I know the game is totally different, but the richly coloured painterly style reminds me of nothing more than Icewind Dale, which is one of my very great loves in gaming.

I think the chest you craft or buy can be placed at vendors locations so you can put all items used for that vendor in said chest, maybe?

This is just one of those games that, despite any flaws, you can taste the magic sauce the devs have been cooking and see the potential.

Further. Its easy to get back to town. Slot the rune of return on a random weapon. Slot it and use to return. Then sell store and go back to the sacrament teleport to last cerim whisper.

I've got about 6 or so hours in and recently made it to sacrament. This game is amazing.

After upgrading my weapon twice i feel its gotta really easy. Hell i have 2 crows rings am now i can stand and tank most hits while wearing light/medium armor and just instantly heal the damage i take.

I'd think you'd like V Rising then, you can even play with Cotton. It's also got a Castlevania update coming May 8th.
I have to wonder what kinda vampire mansion Cotton would come up with ... XD

Best ARPG with souls-like combat and isometric view... I love all it offers and cant wait for it to get more content and hopefully DLCs and some kind of never-ending endgame. Easily best game I played this year even if its only in early access. *and it runs good on my old 2080Ti and looks gorgeous

You can have a bow that spams ranged attacks. Slot a gem thst adds focus on damage. So easy.

This studio does a realy good job!! I have never seen that patches roll out so fast. AAA studio's can learn from this!! You can realy tell they care about the game, i hear also bad news that maybe the difficulty get lowered. I realy hope that will not be the case because i have seen OP builds already!! The game seems easy to challengin if you know what you do. I will probably not play more than ones if the difficulty get lowered!!

From the 30 hours I've played unless they seriously mess up somehow this is gonna be in my top 5 fav games of all time.
